Driven by the hope of finding a better life in Europe, Mohamed Ahmed left Somalia and traveled through the dangerous Libyan desert migration route. But after facing harsh realities along the journey, he made the decision to return home to Hargeisa. With reintegration support from IOM and funding from the European Union, Mohamed started a tailoring and clothing business that now helps support both his family and another employee. His story is one of perseverance, dignity, and rediscovering the value of home.
