Powering innovation to improve the lives of girls and women
UNICEF announces its first Femtech Ventures cohort, backing frontier tech founders across Africa and Asia to expand equitable access to health, wellbeing and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
10 startups from Africa and Asia, selected from over 1,000 submissions across 85 countries, building frontier tech solutions to improve health, wellbeing and socio-economic opportunity for girls and women in emerging markets.
With support from the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Temasek Foundation, the inaugural UNICEF Innovation #FemtechVentures cohort is now underway with founders leveraging their context to build solutions girls and women need.
Not waiting for #femtech to arrive. Building it.
