A Program Designed to Help Former Foster Youth Graduate College

Each year, thousands of current or former foster youth enroll in California community colleges with determination but limited support. Through our Foster Youth initiative, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation invests in programs that promote economic independence for young people, including the Foundation for California Community Colleges’ statewide Student Ambassadors Program. This vignette shares the perspectives of ambassadors and their counselor at Los Angeles City College.    Learn more about the Hilton Foundation’s Foster Youth initiative:  https://www.hiltonfoundation.org/work/our-initiatives/foster-youth/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=foster-youth&utm_content=lacc-ambassadors
