Non-exclusive and transparent licenses, with differentiated royalties, through healthcare platforms, offer opportunities for healthcare technology holders by allowing them to access global or regional markets. This workshop will explore the licensing procedures and requirements of the main platforms, such as the Medicines Patent Pool and the WHO Technology Access Pool. In addition, the benefits and challenges of these platforms will be discussed, with the participation of representatives from research entities such as the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Chile, which have licensed technologies through these platforms. Las licencias no exclusivas y transparentes, con regalías diferenciadas, por intermedio de plataformas de salud, ofrecen oportunidades para los titulares de tecnologías de salud al permitirles acceder a mercados globales o regionales. Este workshop explorará los procedimientos y requisitos de las licencias de las principales plataformas, como el Medicines Patent Pool y el Technology Access Pool de la OMS. Además, se analizarán los beneficios y desafíos de dichas plataformas, con la participación de representantes de entidades de investigación como el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) de España y la Universidad de Chile, que han licenciado tecnologías mediante dichas plataformas.
