Mr. Raghunath Dhole from the Devrai foundation

A video by Mr. Raghunath Dhole, the founder of Devrai foundation (devraifoundation.org). The video is taken at a site where city garbage is used to make a dense forest following the given steps. 1. Around three feet layer of city garbage is placed by removing the dry waste like plastic, metal, glass etc. 2. It is covered by half feet of good topsoil. 3. Native plant species are planted in groups of four at a distance of four feet by four feet. 4. Within 2 years, a dense forest is created which in turn will become a seed bank. Mr. Raghunath Dhole is urging people from all over the world to try this out since this is a great way to convert garbage piles into the dense forest. He continues saying that it is the need of the hour. One comment received on this video, is that "This technique is better than the Miyawaki technique, since it is an economical and a much more practical model." #devraifoundationsustainablegreening #plantgrowsave #oneuniversalfamily Global Tree Initiative
