Tetra Tech develops climate-based solutions to protect the world’s forests and biodiversity. In Cambodia, we support REDD+ projects that provide economic incentives for communities to reduce deforestation and forest degradation through the sale of carbon credits. This video is designed to further communities’ understanding of the complex relationship between forests, climate change and carbon markets, and to mobilize local support for REDD+. It explains the impacts and drivers of climate change, the forest protection role that communities can play to mitigate those impacts, and the link between those activities and economic benefits that can accrue to communities from REDD+ carbon sales.
