Held from 12–13 April 2025 at the Ukulhas Convention Center, the Public Engagement in Local Governance Forum (Rahveheenge Salla) brought together councils, community leaders, and development partners to share insights on strengthening citizen participation in decision-making. The forum highlighted best practices, inclusive governance, and experiences from both local and international contexts. Organized by UNDP Maldives in collaboration with LGA, MCLP, and supported by the UK Government.
