UNDP in Turkmenistan and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi (TNIWL) continue a series of meetings on the Sustainable Development Goals in the framework of the Book club "Kitap-paýhasyň çeşmesi". On 16 October, UNDP organized another Book Club event, during which UNDP specialists briefed students on the results of cooperation between UNDP and Turkmenistan on SDG financing, national statistical capacity-building, reporting and monitoring to measure progress in achieving the SDGs. The students took part in a Quiz on the topic “The Role of Statistics in Achieving Sustainable Development” and received prizes from UNDP.
