On the International Day of the World´s Indigenous Peoples, IWGIA stands with IndigenousPeoples, our partners and friends around the world. ⠀ Indigenous Peoples represent 6% of the world´s population. That´s over 476 million people. ⠀ ⠀ We stand in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples in their continued struggle to defend their right to #selfdetermination, and their collective rights to lands, territories and resources.⠀ ⠀ Despite all the challenges they face, Indigenous Peoples are powerful agents of change. We celebrate their resilience, strength and commitment to build a more just and sustainable world for all. ⠀
