Sarika Kulkarni, spoke of her work at Raah Foundation (which she founded) with tribal communities and why alleviating #WaterPoverty and converting barren land into fertile land is crucial for #circularity. She dwelt on rainwater harvesting and the forest food initiative, creating alternative cattle feed and setting up a tool bank for agricultural equipment.   2. Ajay Govale introduced United Way Mumbai's involvement in #Mumbai360 project and dwelt on the intervention of beach clean-ups and how their partnering with Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai (Mcgm) and their cadres of ‘safai saathis’ has helped in #WasteManagement and cleanliness. 3. Venkat Kotamaraju dwelt on the pollution challenges of the #textile sector which they address through Intellecap's program of #CircularApparelInnovationFactory. They are initiating #CircularEconomics by sourcing textile fibers from natural sources, investing in upskilling workers, building capacity of waste pickers, training micro entrepreneurs on waste segregation and connecting them to manufacturer facilities, residential communities and with start-ups Other points that came up included the role of #storytelling in amplifying awareness and impact and the role of #DataGathering in support of #democratisation of #learning and #DecisionMaking
