Resilience in Action: School Disaster Risk Reduciton (SBDRR) Follow-up in Amarapura, Mandalay! After a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake shook central Myanmar, we headed back to a school in Amarapura to see how our disaster safety training (SBDRR) was sticking. We were blown away! Instead of just listening, the students took the lead. We watched them huddle together in their classrooms, eagerly teaching each other life-saving safety tips. Their energy, teamwork, and commitment to protecting their community are truly inspiring.
