What Sierra Leone did as a member of the United Nations Security Council
In this episode of UNSCripted, Ambassador Michael Imran Kanu, the permanent representative of Sierra Leone to the United Nations, and Daniel Forti of the International Crisis Group to reflected on Freetown’s tenure on the UN Security Council. Kanu highlighted the achievements and challenges of advancing African priorities, one of Sierra Leone’s national priorities in the council, while Forti gave a scorecard of how the small West African country has fared so far in the council.
