Nostalgic Coffee is Uganda’s first youth-led coffee company blending specialty-grade flavour with social impact, skills training, and sustainability. From bean to cup, every step is intentional, every roast is personal, and every sale fuels transformation—for young people, for farmers, and for the future of coffee. It opened its first coffee shop at Makerere University in 2020, then expanded to operate a retail outlet, a coffee college, and a mini roastery. Since then, Nostalgic Coffee has trained over 50 youth and women, built two thriving outreach campaigns, and exported coffee to six global markets, including the USA, UK, and China.
