From Camp to Capital: Turkana Entrepreneurs Access New Markets
Artisans, beekeepers and other entrepreneurs from Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kalobeyei Settlement and host communities participated in a market event in Nairobi, where they showcased their products, connected with buyers and gained visibility for their businesses.
Their participation was supported through the ITC–KOICA THRIVE Project, funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) to create market-based livelihood opportunities for refugees and host communities in Kenya.
