Ten UKTP-supported companies from Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo participated in Chocoa, presenting high-quality origin cocoa to international stakeholders. The participation highlighted the growing global recognition of UKTP-supported origins. Notably, UK buyers in attendance were already using beans sourced from previous origin missions to Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea, demonstrating tangible market linkages and continued commercial engagement. A dedicated tasting session brought together all UKTP cocoa origins, allowing buyers and industry professionals to experience the distinct flavour profiles and quality attributes across participating countries. The session reinforced origin positioning, fostered direct dialogue with buyers, and strengthened the programme’s collective brand presence within the specialty cocoa sector. This participation further positioned UKTP-supported origins as competitive, traceable, and high-quality suppliers within the international chocolate and cocoa market.
