Through the design and production of unique, eco-friendly, handmade products — from handwoven textiles and accessories to home décor — the initiative creates fair trade job opportunities while preserving artisanal traditions that give El Salvador its cultural identity. Lula Mena is one of the businesses supported by the Ilamatepec Project, funded by the European Union – Unión Europea en El Salvador as part of the Global Gateway Strategy and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC). This initiative supports Salvadoran tourism enterprises in strengthening their visibility, developing export-ready experiences, and accessing international markets.
