This video tells the story of Ella Balasa, a survivor of a drug-resistant infection. Drug-resistant infections are caused by germs that do not respond to the drugs that are designed to kill them. These infections can be difficult- or impossible-to-treat. Ella explains why it is imperative to preserve antibiotic and antifungal treatments for everybody, and how viewers can take actions to prevent infections and the spread of drug-resistant germs.
