Engaging with wheat farmers in Egypt (part 1): Q&A with Dr Ahmed Elkot

Dr Ahmed Elkot of Agricultural Research Center in Egypt discusses the work the UK-CGIAR Centre's wheat enhancement project is doing in Egypt with wheat farmers. Project teams have been engaging with farmers to identify their preferred wheat traits and understand how these preferences differ based on gender and farm size. These findings will help set inclusive, gender-responsive breeding targets to support wheat farmers.
