What does a day look like for a nutrition healthcare worker in Baidoa? Follow Fatima as she screens children for malnutrition, provides treatment, supports mothers with practical feeding advice, and travels into communities to reach families who cannot access the nutrition centre. From measuring children’s growth and providing ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF), to tracking supplies and treatment progress through digital tools, every step helps ensure children receive the care they need. With support from European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), vulnerable families in Somalia are accessing lifesaving nutrition services, both at health centres and through community outreach.
