In Dhusamareeb, Galmudug, social mobilizers are helping families access the knowledge and services they need to keep their children healthy. Through home visits and community outreach, Farhia, a social mobilizer, works closely with caregivers to raise awareness about the importance of vaccination, nutrition, and hygiene. By guiding families and connecting them to nearby health and nutrition services, she helps ensure children receive the care they need to grow and thrive. Through the Joint Resilience Programme supported by the German Government, UNICEF and partners are supporting communities across Somalia to strengthen resilience and improve the well being of children and families.
