ASEAN-IPR is proud to be one of the partners of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) in convening the “AICHR Regional Training Programme On Human Rights - Workshops on Intersection between Conflict and Human Rights: Pathways and Approaches to Peace in ASEAN.” From 13–15 August 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Workshops 2–4 aims to explore ASEAN mechanisms for conflict prevention and peace-building, the use of international frameworks and approaches, and the protection of human rights of all in conflict situations. The Workshops are led by AICHR Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, in partnership with ASEAN-IPR with support from UN Women, Canada, the UK, and the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect.
