ASEAN-IPR and @cmioffice convened the second iteration of the Introductory Training on Conflict Analysis and Conflict Resolution in Jakarta, Indonesia between 3-5 June 2026. The Training brought together 28 government officials from ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat staff, staff of ASEAN bodies/centres/entities, members of the ASEAN Women for Peace Registry (AWPR) as well as members of the ASEAN-IPR Advisory Board. The three-day programme aim to combine theory-informed sessions with practical, experience-oriented approaches to conflict resolution and its application in the ASEAN context. Specifically, the Training has been designed to introduce the participants to conflict resolution policies and mechanism, to identify area of improvement and create reasonable actions for a better region. This year’s training is also supported by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Norway-ASEAN Regional Integration Programme (NARIP).
