Victoria Condori has been working in mining in Madre de Dios for more than 30 years. At a time when few women were able to find a place in the sector, she chose to stay, learn, and lead. Today, from the Saltur VI mining concession, she and her team are implementing mercury-free technologies and reforestation efforts, seeking to do things in a better way for people's health and for the Amazon.
