In our new Meet Our Staff series, we highlight the people behind the Carter Center’s global mission to wage peace, fight disease, and build hope. Harriet Sengendo serves as the senior administrator for the Carter Center’s Uganda office, supporting day-to-day operations that advance the organization’s peace and health initiatives in the region. The work, she says, is about justice and making a real difference in people’s lives — in Uganda and around the world.
