This video showcases our ally, Christine Samwaroo, who is Founder and Managing Director of The Breadfruit Collective and co-lead of the Caribbean Climate Justice Alliance’s Human Rights Working Group. Christine works to promote environmental and climate justice and ensure a rights-based approach, which centres the needs of women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous and Tribal Peoples and other vulnerable groups in Guyana and across the Caribbean region. The video was produced by the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI), which convenes the Alliance and serves as its secretariat, with the generous support of the Island Fund for Climate and Justice and Open Society Foundations.
