During the opening ceremony of UNDP Africa’s Community of Practice for Governance and Peacebuilding, its Coordinator, Nirina Kiplagat, highlighted that governance reforms must be understood through a social contract lens, focusing on fair purposes, inclusive outcomes and the resilience of institutions to meet citizens' expectations in a time of rapid change.
