HPV Self-Sampling for Indonesia’s Cervical Cancer Elimination Initiative. Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among women in Indonesia. To accelerate progress toward the national elimination targets, innovative and scalable approaches are urgently needed. This LinkedIn Live session will highlight how HPV self-sampling—integrated within a national screening model—can empower women, expand access, and strengthen health systems across provinces. Drawing from the implementation research pilot in East Java, experts from government, professional associations, technical partners, and industry will unpack lessons learned, policy implications, and opportunities for scale-up. The discussion will explore how self-sampling can reduce barriers to screening, improve efficiency in laboratory workflows, and support the Ministry of Health’s vision for integrated and people-centered services.
