IFLA at the @unitednations World Summit for Social Development 2025
From 4–6 November in Doha, Qatar, governments and United Nations agencies convened to assess progress on social development goals. The IFLA delegation—including Alaa Ahmed (Egypt), Zoubeida Bouallagui (Tunisia), Rami Oudeh (Jordan), and IFLA HQ—used the opportunity to engage governments, intergovernmental organizations, and other potential partners, highlighting libraries’ key role in advancing social development and contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.
