The Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 (GC8) process has been initiated in majority of eligible countries. It is a critical time for countries to leverage these resources to design resilient and sustainable HIV prevention programmes. The current financial landscape requires a strengthened understanding of accountability and prioritization for prevention to ensure that the people in need of prevention, particularly in high incidence settings, have access to the right prevention packages and prevention options of their choice through trusted access platforms, at the right price.
