Coded Bias in Nairobi | Full Panel Discussion

🌍 Algorithmic bias doesn’t stop at national borders. These new technologies, often developed by large multinational companies, are also being deployed across the African continent. A crucial question arises: How can this technology be used in a way that doesn’t exploit the communities it’s being deployed in? This is one of the major themes addressed in the panel discussion that took place alongside AJL’s Coded Bias [tag] screening in Nairobi, Kenya.
