In conversation: meet the women teaching digital finance in remote Nepal
Deep in the remote hills of Nepal, a quiet revolution is underway.
During a work trip, Pooja Sharma — Country Director of Practical Action Nepal — travels to a remote village and sits down with an extraordinary group of women: the Women Digital Champions trained under the SAMUNNATI – Digital Finance Project.
In this candid conversation, they share how they got started with digital finance, what they've learned along the way and how they're now teaching other rural women in their communities. Their stories are a testament to how access to digital tools and financial literacy can transform lives — one village at a time.
