Communities Leading Climate Solutions in Bhutan | Locally Led Water Resilience

Across Bhutan’s steep and fragile landscapes, climate change is reshaping how water is accessed and managed. This short video highlights how local communities, especially women, are leading practical, lasting climate solutions. In Paro, Dagana and Tsirang, adaptation is not just about infrastructure. It is about people. Water User Associations, gewog leaders, government officials and farmers are working together to strengthen water security, improve livelihoods and build resilience that lasts. This Adaptation Fund–supported project, implemented by the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation, shows how locally led adaptation delivers real results on the ground. 👉 Learn more: The Girl Who Carried Buckets: A Climate Adaptation Story from Bhutan 🔗 https://lnkd.in/esJe6NwU
