Session 2 | Meaningful Access to Justice and Survivor-centred Legal Responses to TFGBV

What does justice look like for a survivor of TFGBV? By centering anonymised survivor testimonies, this session analysed the gaps between legal theory and survivor reality. Together, speakers explored holistic justice responses through survivor-centred approaches that address the online-offline continuum, shift accountability to states and tech platforms, and transform justice systems to offer diverse remedies and long-term restitution for survivors. Speakers: Amanda Manyame, Director, Securing Digital Rights, Equality Now Nighat Dad, Founder, Digital Rights Foundation Marina Meira, Public Policy Coordinator, Derechos Digitales Sofiene Bacha, Policy Specialist, UNDP Cailin Crockett, Senior Consultant, StopNCII.org
