Session 1 | Data Rights Are Women's Rights

This session sought to build participants’ knowledge on how harmful data practices when collecting, storing and sharing personal information can enable TFGBV. Moving beyond individual privacy, speakers examined the continuum of harm ranging from intimate partner surveillance to state-led transnational repression of activists, and explored how feminist data frameworks and practices can interrupt these pathways and centre survivor safety. Speakers: Rebecca Ryakitimbo, Feminist Technologist and Researcher Szu-Hui Ema Huang / 黃詩惠, Movement Building Coordinator, Amnesty International Taiwan
