A returnee from Libya, Ibrahim launched a farming business in Kankan after an initial setback in soapmaking. He now employs six people and supplies maize to local markets, helping to reduce dependence on imports. Ibrahim hopes to inspire other young people to pursue agriculture as a viable path forward. Implemented by IOM and funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, CinemArena is a mobile education and information programme that raises awareness about socio-economic opportunities in Africa as a sustainable alternative to irregular migration.
