Investors have tried to withdraw $10 billion from private credit in 2026—what’s next?
“In the first quarter, there was something like $10 billion of requests to get money out of private credit…only 70% of that $10 billion of requests has been honored so far,” says Sebastian Mallaby, pointing to liquidity challenges in this rapidly growing asset class.
