Should the U.S. ban Chinese robots?
“If we were to just do a blanket prohibition on Chinese robots, it would be effective in securing elements of our national security,” says Rush Doshi, director of CFR’s China Strategy Initiative and assistant professor at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. “Of course, those robots are cheaper than the ones that we make here at home. So the question then is, what do we do about that price differential?”
