How Women Govern Differently Than Men
“Many women are socialized to be more attuned to health, education, welfare. We see that. We see the evidence of that as they come into parliament—which is the largest data set—but also in the top position of government, that they pay more attention to those social safety net issues. It turns out climate also—many of them [are] drawn to focus on that systemic challenge,” says Linda Robinson, CFR expert and author of “Women in Power: Fighting for Democracy in an Age of Authoritarianism.”
