This Plenary explored the essential role of Indigenous knowledge in Arctic research and policymaking. The panel featured Dr. Malene Simon Hegelund and Dr. Sara Olsvig, who shared perspectives on the importance of integrating traditional knowledge in scientific inquiry. Najannguaq Hegelund translated messages from Indigenous hunters. The session was moderated by H.E. Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Prime Minister of Iceland (2017–2024) and Chair of the Arctic Circle Polar Dialogue.
