The inaugural plenary emphasized that electrifying freight is a strategic priority for Kerala—key to improving air quality, reducing oil dependence, and boosting long-term economic competitiveness. Speakers highlighted the need to approach electric mobility as a grid-integrated service, not just a vehicle transition driven by incentives. With KSEBL’s leadership under PM E-DRIVE and strong collaboration across government, utilities, and industry, the session reinforced the importance of building a scalable, user-friendly charging ecosystem to accelerate clean freight in the state.
