As 2025 draws to a close, so too does the International Council on Clean Transportation’s 20th year in operation. In 2005, the ICCT was formally incorporated and opened its first offices in San Francisco, CA, and Washington, DC. Twenty years later, we now have 6 offices worldwide, with over 185 staff across 11 countries, a digital library of over 2,200 original research publications, and over 100 policies directly shaped by our work, resulting in an estimated 2 billion tons of CO2 emissions abated. To commemorate these 20 years of impact, we are pleased to share our 20th Anniversary video. We hope you enjoy this retrospective look at how our organization has grown.
