In Helmand province, Afghanistan, a small business is turning discarded plastic and metal into valuable door parts and decorative items.

Supported by a capacity-development programme led by UNCTAD and funded by the Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan (STFA), this enterprise shows how local entrepreneurs can transform waste into useful building materials while creating income and opportunities for the community.
