After losing one of his legs during the conflict, Mohammad was displaced with his family in Gaza. Faced with severe shortages and repeated displacement, he planted a small garden beside his tent. Tomatoes, peppers and herbs slowly began to grow, feeding his family, neighbours and community. In a place where so much has been taken away, Mohammad’s garden became a reflection of the will to rebuild toward a more stable future.
