Children growing up in Gaza are surrounded by destruction, uncertainty and stress. UNICEF-supported sports and recreation activities offer kids a much-needed opportunity to play, connect and heal. Play brings psychological relief, joy and the chance to be with friends and loved ones. "Football brings back the good memories," 16-year-old Badr says simply. "When I play chess, I feel that my mood improves, and my concentration increases," adds 10-year-old Zeina.
