From the fields of Istog/Istok to the heart of her community, Laura Salihaj’s story reflects the resilience, skills, and hard work of rural women in Kosovo. Part of the “From Her Hands” campaign, this video highlights the value of women’s work in rural communities and their contribution to families, local economies, and community life. The campaign was supported through “Promoting Rural Women’s Empowerment in Kosovo”, implemented by FAO and UN Women, with funding from the Austrian Development Agency and International Partnerships Austria.
