In the past 5 years, our operation has grown by 150%, going from 1,600 to up to 4,000 chicks per flock 🐥 We used to do things like adding sugar water or dipping beaks, but as the number of chicks increased, those same steps started taking time away from what really matters, letting chicks settle, explore, and adapt on their own. Growing the farm has meant rethinking simple routines and finding better ways to manage larger groups without overcomplicating the process.
