At schools across Rwanda, teachers are helping learners connect climate education with everyday action, from planting trees and growing vegetables to reducing waste and protecting biodiversity.
This video, produced as part of UNESCO’s Greening Education Partnership (GEP), showcases how schools are integrating sustainability into teaching and learning through the support of teachers, communities, and partners including the Foundation for Environmental Education and the Eco-Schools programme.
By transforming schools into living learning spaces, teachers are helping students develop the knowledge, skills, values, and habits needed to become climate-ready learners and active environmental stewards.
