Many have survived war, violence, and abuse, only to face
containment and deterrence instead of care.
During his visit to Lesvos, MSF Secretary General Christopher Lockyear witnessed first hand the conditions people on the move endure, and the urgent need for protection, dignity, and access to healthcare.
Seeking safety is not a crime. No one should be punished for trying
to survive.
