The House That Evelyne Built: Making A Difference in D.R. Congo

Since 2021, RET has worked with communities in the eastern regions of Democratic Republic of Congo to improve food security and promote peace in a conflict-torn area. In the village of Katoni, in the Ituri province, Evelyne spoke to us about how this work has impacted her life. Together with local NGOs like ACPEJ, FDAPID, and PAP-RDC, we’re working to empower smallholder farmers in Ituri and North Kivu – to the south – by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve lasting food security.
