For more than 15 years, Norges Vel Tanzania, with support from the Government of Norway, has partnered with smallholder farmers, women, and youth to strengthen resilient, inclusive food systems in Tanzania. This documentary showcases how integrated approaches—spanning climate-smart production, mechanization, storage, processing, finance, and market access—are improving food security, incomes, and resilience in rural communities, particularly in Mbarali (Mbeya) and Mlimba (Morogoro/Kilombero). As the world marks the International Year of Women Farmers, the film highlights a proven model that places women at the center of food‑system transformation, enabling them to access land, skills, capital, and markets, and to lead as producers, seed entrepreneurs, and agribusiness owners.
